Dr. Hamidou

Postdoc

  • Hamidou is a visual anthropologist with a PhD from the University of Maroua (Cameroon) and a Master’s degree in Visual Anthropology from the University of Tromsø (Norway). His research focuses on the socio-cultural and environmental dynamics of pastoral and nomadic communities in West and Central Africa.

Dr. Wurihan

Postdoc

  • Wurihan (Urihan) earned her Ph.D. from the anthropology department of Bejing University, China. Her research focuses on social changes, human-animal relationships, relocation, and displacement of pastoral communities.

Vedaste Niyonsaba

PhD-student

  • Vedaste is a holistic socio-ecological researcher by training. He has extensive experience investigating societal matters spanning broad social, cultural, economic, and environmental sectors and driving sustainability.
